Radiators by engine
In short
TECS Engineering designs and manufactures radiators for INNIO Jenbacher gas engines: LT/HT radiators that cool the jacket water and charge air circuits in one unit, V-type radiators for plants with many engines, and remote radiators for single sets. Each radiator is designed to the engine maker's requirements and the site.
Jenbacher gas engines run in power plants, CHP plants, greenhouses, landfill and biogas sites and, more and more, at data centers. Every one of them needs a radiator that keeps its cooling circuits where the engine maker asks, on the hottest day of the year.
TECS Engineering designs and builds that radiator for the engine, the site and the installation, and delivers it ready to connect.
Two Cooling Circuits, One Unit
Jenbacher engines have a high-temperature circuit for the jacket water and a low-temperature circuit for the charge air. An LT/HT radiator cools both in one unit, with one set of fans and one footprint.
From A Single Engine To A Large Plant
A single CHP engine is often cooled by a horizontal remote radiator next to the building. Plants with many engines side by side use V-type radiators, which put more cooling on the same ground area.
Designed To The Engine Maker's Requirements
The radiator is designed to the cooling data the engine maker gives for the engine, so the engine keeps its rated output at the site, whatever the climate.
Heat Recovery And Emergency Cooling
Where the engine heat is used, the radiator works as the emergency cooler that takes the heat when the heating network does not need it, so the engine keeps running.
What TECS Engineering Delivers
- Radiator designed for the engine and the site
- Manufacturing in our own factory
- Factory testing before shipment
- Complete documentation with every unit
- Support from enquiry to start-up
What To Send With An Enquiry
- The engine type and how many engines the site has
- The engine maker's cooling data sheet, if you have it
- Where the radiators will stand and the conditions of the site
- The sound limit and where it is measured
- The power supply for the fans and any space limit
Questions We Are Often Asked
Do you make radiators for every Jenbacher engine type?
Yes. Each radiator is designed for the engine type it cools and for its site, from single CHP engines to large multi-engine plants.
Can you replace the radiator of an existing Jenbacher installation?
Yes. Send us the engine type and what you know about the existing radiator and the site, and we design the replacement.
Is TECS Engineering part of INNIO?
No. TECS Engineering is an independent radiator manufacturer. Jenbacher is a trademark of INNIO and is used here only to name the engines our radiators cool.
What do you need for a quotation?
The engine type, the engine maker's cooling data, where the radiator will stand, the site conditions and the sound limit. With that we prepare the proposal.
