Radiators by engine
In short
TECS Engineering designs and manufactures radiators for Cummins diesel and gas generator sets: remote radiators for sets inside buildings and containers, V-type radiators for sites with many sets, and mechanical driven radiators where the engine drives the fan. Each one is made for its engine and its site.
Cummins generator sets stand in data centers, hospitals, mines, factories and rental fleets around the world. Many of them need a radiator that is not the standard one on the set: a remote unit, a quieter unit, or one built for a hot or dusty site.
TECS Engineering designs that radiator for the set and the site, from a single standby set to a large plant.
Remote Radiators For Sets Indoors
When the set stands in a building or a container, a remote radiator outside keeps the room small and the noise away from the building, and lets the room breathe only the air the engine needs.
Mechanical Driven Radiators
Where the cooling must stay with the engine, a mechanical driven radiator, with its fan driven by the engine, keeps the set self-contained for sites without a separate power supply for the fans.
Hot, Dusty And Coastal Sites
Mines, deserts and coastal sites are hard on radiators. The design takes the site into account from the start, so the set keeps its output and the radiator keeps its life.
Replacing An Existing Radiator
An old or undersized radiator can be replaced by a new one designed for the same set. Send us what you know about the set and the existing unit and we design the replacement.
What TECS Engineering Delivers
- Radiator designed for the engine and the site
- Manufacturing in our own factory
- Factory testing before shipment
- Complete documentation with every unit
- Support from enquiry to start-up
What To Send With An Enquiry
- The engine type and how many engines the site has
- The engine maker's cooling data sheet, if you have it
- Where the radiators will stand and the conditions of the site
- The sound limit and where it is measured
- The power supply for the fans and any space limit
Questions We Are Often Asked
Do you make radiators for Cummins QSK sets?
Yes. Each radiator is designed for the engine it cools and for its site.
Can you supply radiators for a whole plant of Cummins sets?
Yes. From a single standby set to many sets side by side, each radiator is designed for its engine and the layout of the site.
Is TECS Engineering part of Cummins?
No. TECS Engineering is an independent radiator manufacturer. Cummins is a trademark of Cummins Inc. and is used here only to name the engines our radiators cool.
What do you need for a quotation?
The engine type, the engine maker's cooling data, where the radiator will stand, the site conditions and the sound limit. With that we prepare the proposal.
