Data centers
In short
TECS Engineering designs and builds data center cooling equipment: dry coolers for the IT cooling loop and free cooling, and radiators for the backup generator sets. The units are delivered to data center projects in Europe, the Middle East and worldwide.
A data center has two cooling jobs outside the building: rejecting the heat of the IT equipment, around the clock, and keeping the backup generator sets cool on the day the grid fails. TECS Engineering designs and builds the units for both, each one for its own project.
Dry coolers serve the IT cooling loop and free cooling. Remote and V-type radiators cool the engines of the backup power plant.

Dry Coolers For The IT Cooling Loop
Dry coolers take the heat of the chillers, the liquid-cooled racks and the free cooling circuit to the outside air without using any water. On cool days they carry the load on their own, which saves the chillers a great deal of energy.
Radiators For The Backup Generators
The generator sets of a data center must start and carry the full load in the worst weather of the year. Their remote and V-type radiators are designed for that day, for the engine they cool and for the place they stand.
Many Units On A Small Plot
Large campuses place many units side by side on roofs and in yards. V-type units put more cooling on the same ground area, and the layout is planned so the units do not take each other's warm air.
Quiet Neighbours
Data centers are often close to homes and offices. Fans that slow down at part load and at night keep both the energy use and the sound level low, and the sound limit of the site is part of the design from the start.
